When it is fully useable on the mr100, it'll be interesting to see how easy it would be to install and use for PC-less-smarts (like me

)
I will post an FAQ of how to put it on your player if you like, I'll try and start this soon.

I just skimmed through the Rockbox manual for an iRiver, and wow, is it packed!. It's like 70-80 solid pages (OK, installation was like only half a page, phewwww...) of manual, all in english...Packed with a host of games, jpeg viewer (and yes plug-ins whatever, one of which yes....plays MPEG video files - still being perfected though) etc etc.
yes plugins are good they become part of the Build/SVN/CSV in time, you will not use all the pugins, eg video as the m100 only has a one colour screen, and they will have to be made for the m100.

I think it'll take a bit more time for it to work with the mr500 bcos of the pure touchscreen element. Of course, there is no, none whatsoever pure touchscreen player out there of the 20 or so that have Rockbox manuals written for them, I read before how, some said there were seemingly insurmountable obstacles to getting rockbox to the mr500. But who knows, maybe like bCat said, maybe shirour's team's work with the touchscreen functionality for Doom/Linux, may have made it a teeny bit more possible.
The problem with the mr500 is not the touch screen its the chipset, the m100 has same as another player so a compiler was available but mr500 there is no free compiler available, I don't know if this is still an issue?
