Great :mClapp: , glad to help. H Easter to you too.

As for video:

1. Noone here has managed to play video with sound on the mr500. as far as I know.
2. Nor has anyone as far as I know managed to play smooth frames per second video, with or without sound.
3. Not PC expert, but if it's a video playing software suitable for linux, I don't see how a windows or mac pc can run the software from the mrobe 500. Is that what you asked....?

best wishes

yea jame...we cant get video because there aren't dsp(brain of video and audio for mrobe) drivers there for linux doesnt know how to process video at all and can only process sound poorley....if we found drivers for the dsp or coded or even found some that were modded and made linux use dsp then it would run audio like no other and video very smooth...also speed up linux a bit taking load of the processor of the mrobe

i dont have any SVG files here. My remix floder is empty and yes i made a remix cube prior to installing the exploited firmware
What's wrong?
Thanx Tim

EDIT-merge later (jam-mod - yes do make use of the EDIT function for back to back posts especially short , obviously connected ones)

i had forgotten to save my remix cube.
Can i just redo the exploited firware or do i need to remove it and then redo it?

yep

theres an edit button in the top right corner

if you do a blank sync with mtrip after it says your mrobe is being managed by another comp it will make 2 permanent remixes just add the svg to one of then and its good. (if you also sync with mtrip then it replaces the svgs so you have to do that again)

sorry to hear it, what a drag.

I would, if you know how to redo, everything.

try my GUIDES/Dummies' tips to linux on mr500...? Maybe?

Be careful though.....

Yes I would start all over again (I just suspect probly thru ignorance but maybe not, that files get modified, affected all the time you're trying to get the stuff going. Best to start off with a clean slate as they say ( I DONT mean format tho). Right click on the linux folder in mroibe drive and delete.

Then redo the firmware back to original if I was you (there's a Guide I made in Guides).

Then
go tto the Dummies Tips for linux.

your risk tho so go easy, slow, read everything thoroughly.

fair enough logical plan, one that I'd do myself! But not what I'd advise to others bcos I need to err on the safe side for other peoples' electronics....I think you understand...

good luck, hope it does it.
