Read the first post carefully.

first i dint had the svg file in /system/templates/t000001 and in /user/remix/....

i changed that and now it works

so this is the same opie but it has speed and more features

now i finally get to fully use my stylus. (i got one with my mrobe[bought it separatly])

Wow good work, this whole thing took 5 minutes to get going for me, just unzipped it into my mrobe and it works. Very impressive...

do i need to have a remix first saved?

I already had the svg and the template in place, when I copied the 3 folder onto the mrobe's root, it overwrote them. SO if you dont have any remixes, try to make one first.

and with the remixes if i had just let it run the extraction it wouldnt have worked you have to use the same template as your remix. i was useing template 3 so in the system folder i renamed the svg to t0030001 or whatever it is and put it in the 3rd folder

when i choose to play remix it start Linux but it freez with the first screen that i have to press anywhere on the screen when i try to press it nothing happen so i try to push power it start to have some change like all functional screen at the bottom show up but not function after a while it turn blue screen so i have to shut it down. what can i do?

i had that problem, too. what i did was on the remix screen, i told it to save the remix, then used it. worked fine after that.

does anybody know if shirour still works on the linux project?

cause video + sound would be great?

i dont think that a sleep mode is very useful cause i would only use opie for watching movies or something like that and then the backlight must be on.

i think we will probably get the screen backlight and other functions before video and sound and maybe not even get video

I've sticky'ed this on bearcat's prompting. As I understand it, it really does simplify getting linux running, a whole lot, eg no drive partitioning required. Cheers and thanks to cat and shirour for their dedication.
